At the 2026 Suicide Research Symposium, two post-baccalaureate research assistants with SPRT (Corinne and Alyson) and one of our graduate students (Tyler) presented their findings from recent research projects.

Corinne presented a poster on findings from a recent study that examined whether safety plan recall rate was associated with clinical outcomes such as satisfaction, attitudes, intentions, and subjective norms. Alyson presented a poster on findings from a recent study that examined how individual differences in empathy and attitudes toward suicide prevention influence social media users' likelihood of intervening when encountering suicide-related posts. Tyler presented a poster on findings from a recent study that used a network analysis approach to explore the construct of perceived contribution within a network of other suicide-related measures.
